Xpand: LT Phase Sample Reduction II

This second video continues the explanation of LT Sample Reduction process. In particular the impact that some of the inbuilt sampling options have on modelling Demand, Wind, and Solar profiles. Analysis is shown from a carve out of GB from EE's Pan-EU dataset, comparing how well represented the profiles are in the LT phase, vs the input data. Wind profiles in particular are identified as hard to model accurately when using limited samples. The potential for a user to guide the sampling process, via variable objects, is then presented as a potential technique to improve the representation of some input profiles within the LT phase.
